Zonta Says No To Violence – Niagara Falls Candlelight Walk Dec/16

Club of Niagara Falls, along with the Zonta Clubs of St. Catharines and Fort Erie, assembled at Table Rock in Niagara Falls to kick off local participation in the United Nations 16 Days of Activism Against Gender based Violence. “Zonta Says No” is a Zonta International campaign to raise awareness about violence against women and girls around the world and to work toward its end.

Zonta Club of St. Catharines Says No To Violence Against Women and Girls around the world. Annually since 2013 our club has set-up a display and engaged the public in the atrium of the St. Catharines Public Library Central Branch. Zonta members handed out literature, oranges, and orange ribbons. 
 
 
 
 

Cheque Presentation – Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara

The Centre serves all of Niagara’s 12 municipalities, helping children and families cope with the life altering impacts of child abuse. Cheque Presentation – Village of Hope

Proceeds from the April 2014 Zonta Club of St. Catharines Afternoon Tea were donated to the Village of Hope to support services and programs offered to those in need throughout Niagara. Zonta members Patricia (2nd from left) and Virginia (far right) presented a cheque for $2,000 to Village of Hope Director Cheryl Keddy-Scott (middle) and one of their board members.

Proceeds from the Zonta Club of St. Catharines Afternoon Tea in April 2013 were donated to the Child Advocacy Centre Niagara. Zonta members Patricia, Virginia and Margo presented a cheque for $2,000 to Cindy Paskey (2nd from left) from the Child Advocacy Centre.
